Andrew and Joni's Wedding

I had the chance on May 29th, 2010 to photograph another wonderful wedding. I was really excited to do this again, especially since there are finally leaves on the trees and flowers blooming to make some beautiful photos! This bride was a cousin to the groom of the last wedding I shot, so I was really grateful for the referral. Imagine my fear when I woke up that morning to POURING rain. Oh boy. Talk about one terrified amateur photographer!

Joni and Andrew chose not to go out and shoot some images of the two of them before the ceremony, so we were stuck trying to find a good moment during the day to sneak away. The rain cleared for about 15 minutes an hour before the reception, so we dashed to try and get some great images. Only 15 minutes into it, we got stuck in the downpour again, but I like the effects of the umbrellas in the pictures.



I am so glad they were such good sports...plus I hear wedding day rain= serious good luck!
