Growing up, Kyle's family moved a few different times as their family expanded and made good friends at each new location. When they first lived in Kearns, Bruce and Jerolyn became friends with Kent and Carla who had young kids just about the same ages as each of Kyle's siblings. A friendship was born that has survived through the decades. The Hicken's and Ipson's moved away and then a few years later ended up purchasing houses in the same neighborhood yet again. In Kyle's baby book, there are more pictures of he and Tim growing up together then there are of Kyle and his brother Cory! I was impressed when I married into the family that the Ipson's came to our wedding (which was in Idaho and they live now in Oregon!) and that they have been at all of Kyle's siblings weddings (and vice versa). Kyle and Tim grew up together, went to school together, maintained a friendship despite Tim moving to Oregon while they were in high school. They roomed together before their missions and stayed in touch during and after the mission. Tim was at our wedding and we were able to come to love his wife Stephanie when they dated as well. We now have young kids and they live in a different state, but the friendship carries on. Miles middle name is Timothy in part because of the incredible man that Tim is and the friend that he has been to Kyle through the years. We hope that Miles will grow up to be a friend and have a friend like Tim. We were so excited when schedules finally worked out and Tim, Steph, and Logan were able to come and spend the weekend with us. We sat around and talked a lot, played games, went out in between kids naps, and just enjoyed being together. I only remembered to pull out the camera when we went to the zoo, so that is where our pictures come from!

There's an Ipson family that lives around the corner from my Grandma in SLC. My uncle actually married their daughter, Amy. I wonder if your Ipson family is related. :) It's so great to have friendships that span generations. :) Love the updates! :)
