Happy Birthday Kyle!

Kyle's birthday was on January 30th and typically, Wednesday's are the most difficult day of the week for us. Kyle has classes on Tuesday's and Thursday's, so Wednesday's are always study till late night kinds of days....unfortunately, the 30th fell on a Wednesday! We did the best we could to still party in style on the actual day and then celebrate further on the weekend.

Kyle awoke to a lovely breakfast in bed (though very difficult when we live in a studio apartment!!) and then left for work. In between the work and massive hours of studying, we managed to cram in a quick dinner of favorite foods (Wingers wings, corn bread, guacamole, etc) and then some cake and ice cream. To my defense, this cake is store bought (great super bowl savings price!!) but I did make cupcakes for his whole office before I left for work! he had a great day and was so excited about his new toys...RAM for his laptop, a wireless mouse and sleeve, Best Buy giftcards (to turn his dreaming into reality!), food and water storage especially designed for Kyle (chocolate milk..YUM!), etc. Thanks to all our wonderful family and friends!

Then this weekend, we went out with some great friends to celebrate. We had to chow down at Chili's for dinner and enjoy the wonderful Chocolate Molten Cake (SOOO GOOD!!!!)

We were joined by Kellie and her friend Blake, Kyle's former roommate Mike, and his lovely wife Robyn. Robyn and I had no shame in licking the plates clean for a picture....that cake was AWESOME!
In all, it was a wonderful though busy week. Kyle finished his internship on Friday and though we are very sad to lose the consistent paychecks, it was a great experience. He will be interviewing for some accountant positions with some smaller companies this week, so keep your fingers crossed for us! Happy Birthday Kyle! I love you!
